Hey,
Quick question.. so i typed in my URL in google, to see what information would pop up on my site, but i got "Sorry, no information on URL"!! Is there something wrong? My site has been about 8 months, I have a high PR, and googlebots come to my site like everyday. It's been like this for about a week now. Am i doing something wrong? Does this signify something?

Thanks in advance!

It would appear that Google no longer has that page in its index. Perhaps they have it listed under a different URL?

Or was your server down for a period of time?

Okay, this is weird...

I went to your site, and then tried to view Google's cache. It said it didn't have the page.

So I went back to your site, copied a line of text, put it into Google (in quotes) and it found your page.

I am as confused as you are!

Could this be a penalty of some sort? I can't imagine why I would be. Is this one of the "symptoms" of being penalized? Has anyone else had this problem before too? (Although I don't see how it's going to affect my rating... at least i hope not).

hmm...

No, they'd still show you in the cache if it were a penalty. And you wouldn't show up when i searched for the text on your page.

Unless of course you've done something bad that you're not telling us about?

I checked your site, it is in Google index, It seems your site might have been down when Google tried to crawl, it is without cache,
It shows the URL with no title and no description, It should be ok in couple of days just give it some time,

This thread will give you a possible overview of what is happening with google,

there are so many people out there seeing the same problem,

I just read on another forum that this exact issue is a sign that Google is doing index updating across the board. Allegedly, the way to verify is to try running your query on www2.google.com and www3.google.com, which I guess will have different editions of the "master" index. The explanation given was that google can't update it's whole network at once because of the way that it's constructed, so it takes place in phases, usually over a week or so.

Don't know if that's what's happening here, but this is the exact issue described in the thread I read.

Hi All,

I'm having the same problem with my site. When I type in the URL and do a search on Google it gives the same error as above. But if I do a search on my keywords that I have good ranking on my site is still listed. I also know that the site has not been down at all for the past few months.

Could this mean Google is broken again? I'm not worried as the positioning is still there but would like to know what is going on and will the positioning be the next to go?

Confused!!!
