I had a website http://www.abc.ie/ and now it has changed into https://abc.com/.

My question is - Should I again verify the HTTPS version of my website in Google Webmaster? Previously, http://www.abc.ie/ was verified but now my domain has completely changed permanently as I applied 301 redirect. So, is it required to verify again the newly created https://abc.com/ site?

They are PROTOCOLS not content locater systems

HTTPS: delivers EXACTLY the same files as HTTP: does and the DNS is from the same servers so no matter which protocol  user agents employ to request the validation codes, the same one WILL be delivered.
