Which Is Better? Html Sitemap Or Xml Sitemap

Best Answer qwerty , 12 August 2014 - 07:50 AM

The XML sitemap, if it has any use at all, is only of use to a search engine, so there's no point in exposing its URL to people. As long as the search engines know it exists (either because you submitted the URL in Webmaster Tools or pointed to it in robots.txt) you're all set. Just remember to keep the file up to date.

Hi All,

I was creating HTML sitemap and XML sitemap both for my website and I was adding link for HTML sitemap on footer of my website and XML sitemap in robots.txt file. But, one of my friend told me, to add XML and HTML sitemap both on footer of website.

It would be great if anybody can help

Thanks in advance.
