Hello Hello,

I am able to get my pages indexed at google.com

But I am not able to get my sites into yahoo or bing.

Aren't these search engines free as well like google ?

Do I have to do something special in order to be indexed at yahoo or bing ?

Thx a lot for any little info !

Yahoo and Bing are one and the same, because Bing feeds search results to Yahoo and has done since 2007.

Yeah! Don't focus your efforts on Google.

You need links from Websites that are already indexed in Bing (and Yahoo!). They don't always index the same sites as Google.

aha... well.. that's interesting...  didn't know that... I remember long time ago.. you had to submit webpages to search engines... not sure if this is still the case and if I would need to do that for yahoo and google...

hmm.. but again.. bing and yahoo search engines are for free right ?

you don't have to pay in order to get indexed ?

one more thing:

is there a keyword tool like google keyword planner for

- Yahoo

- and BING ?

Yahoo and Bing are still free. The Yahoo Directory costs something like 300 USD a year, but that's different (and usually not worth the investment).

You can submit a site to Bing at http://www.bing.com/...submit-site-url but without links from pages that are already in the index, I don't think submitting will help.

And yes, Bing has a keyword research tool, too: http://www.bing.com/toolbox/keywords -- but I've never tried it out.
