First of all a BIG THANKS to all of you for your Tips and Tricks that you propsed me to optimize my pages has given me Great results. Really when I posted my first thread on this forum I was a DUMB in this SEO field but you guys helped me a lot and gave me a vast amout of knowledge base. Thanks and Keep up the Good Work
This Time I want to ask about E-BAY. I know the basic conept about it. I just want to know that do we need to keep anything special in mind while we are optimizing a Page for E-Bay? or Basic SEO will do the Trick for us.

to the best of my knowledge only ebay stores are available to spiders, individual auction items through the ebay site are disallowed by the robots.txt file.
i also read somewhere that ebay where trying to increase the serch engine friendliness of the stores by using hyphenated domains.

If you still want to sell through an auction, donít worry about search engine optimization for search engines like Google or others, but mostly for ebays search engine itself, since most people will use that in the store. Use keywords in your auction tag, and remember that words in images canít be searched for.
