Found this on groups.google. It's a thread where people are discussing some apparent changes that have recently occurred with Google that coincided with the new interface. I thought you guys/ladies might get more out of it...since you actually know what you're talking about when it comes to this type of thing.

The Google new look
New "Froogle" link.
New "More" link to......well more google stuff.
Highlighted search phrase in url. even when embedded in url !

I noticed that Google was high-lighting the search terms in URLs, too. I was wondering if that means that keyword-rich URLs are being given more weight. A lot of people have been predicting the demise of keyword-rich URLs, but this seems to indicate that the future just ain't what it used to be.

It doesn't mean anything other than they have a new way to highlight stuff in your browser. To assume any more than that, is really stretching it, imo.I noticed that Google was high-lighting the search terms in URLs, too.
