I was poking around Alexa and found that there are some new links to my site but was suprised to find there are a couple from LookSmart Australia with one start ratings. Gosh, they don't even tell you why it's rated poorly. The google directory comes up with four stars and Zeal five. Now, I don't know anything about the rating processes for these directories but do know that a bad reference is unmeasurable.
What is it these ivory towers are looking for?
Isn't LookSmart human edited? Maybe it was Editor Bad Hair Day (yeah, that's the ticket)?

Erm... I didn't see anything about LookSmart in your Alexa information, Don. I even went to LookSmart Australia and searched on both your domain name and gardens are marlborough. I don't see you listed in there at all.
Can you clarify what you're referring to?
Your forums are listed in Zeal, though... the only rating I see is a good one.

Here a link to the page Don1 is likely referring to:

I'm not impressed with the review system on Alexa. Too many of the reviews seem to be written by competitors or by the web site owners.
By the way, Alexa will remove reviews that are outside their Review Guideline if you contact them:

Aha, looks like I misunderstood Don's comment. Someone should block me from posting before 9:30 AM, or maybe check the caffeine level in my bloodstream before I can get in here.

Ain't it the truth, Bob?Someone should block me from posting before 9:30 AM, or maybe check the caffeine level in my bloodstream before I can get in here.
We need a special breathalizer that measures the caffeine level before we post. I could also use one that measures the PMS level...
