Hear me out.

I have basically not been doing SEO aside from the usual tips, i.e. great unique copy, title tags yadda yadda - all the usual stuff.

Within about 6 months I have some amazing links from, for example, Stanford University (all 100% topical authoritative pages) and a few others from Fortune 500.

I get about 1,000 uniques a day which I think is great (its all relative I know) but bottom line, I havent really done any dedicated SEO - just posting good stuff and being nice and white hat.

I hope that Google etc see me as a good guy - b/c I havent focused on a strategy that might fall foul of an algo change - am I correct?

Lets see!
