Is it still worth submitting a site to DMOZ.org (Open Directory Project)?

It's free and takes all of 2 minutes, so why not?

You can call me a cynic but I get a feeling that the DMOZ whilst great to get a link from is run by favouristism. I have zero evidence of this but I almost feel that once you become an editor you can sort of pimp yourself out with your "power" - i use that term VERY lightly.

Id apply for it then completely forget about it.

PS I mean favouristism by friends of the editor or things that ONLY the editor likes. If the editor is associated with any commerical interest to the site that you are submitting - why would they include you? Yes I know - very negative of me - but I just dont get a clean feeling with DMOZ.
