Hi, I had set up my Google authorship on my canadian and it was showing perfect. After a while I set it up to my US site and then my canadian authorship did not show on the SERP. Can it be the reason why?

You should be able to list both sites in your Google+ profile.

Be sure to use the rel=author on both sites as well.

If you're doing all that already, then don't worry too much. It's still kinda funky and doesn't always show up correctly, but there's not much you can do about that as far as I know.

Yeah, I had the same issue. However.. my RichSnippet showed up for over 7 month in the SERPS.. for all in the sudden it disappeared.

You can not change it - google decides if you will show up or not. I do not understand the math behind.. but I am pretty sure there is also some algo to determine if you show up or not.

Google is being more stingy with Authorship annotation in the SERPs these days. If you're sure you have configured it correctly then you'll probably need to work on building up your reputation as a writer.
