Is it considered keyword stuffing to repeat the product model name in the page title if the name is repeated in the product name as:

$product_name: Acme 238max widget for whatever ...

$product_model: Acme 238max

$product_price: $99.95

Title Constructed as: $product_name [ $price] $product_model : $business (if have space)

Acme 238max widget for whatever ... [ $99.99] Acme 238max

Acme 238max widget for whatever ... [ $99.99] Acme 238max (Bob's Shop Inc)

Not spamming, but unnecessary, imo.

That's fine. I'd all but convinced myself to drop the model name.  Maybe I'll add the City/State at the end. The business does internet eCommerce but also does major local service to boot.

I'd be cautious about putting the price in the title if there is a chance that the price will change. The SERPs might take several weeks or more to react to changes in the title, and might still be showing the old price long after it's out of date.

Just a thought.

Mikl: Hmmm - that's a definite possibility.  The platform had the price built in to the construct (also model); I just sorted out how to rearrange it to suit our needs.  We don't want to have wrong prices indexed in the title, but I'm not sure that it will matter in the long run.  We may tinker with the prices a tad along the way, but either way, the current price will display on site.
