I wish... Thirteen years in this industry, and my conference experience is one day at SES NY three years ago. I took the train down at 6 am, attended abut five sessions, and took the train back to Boston that evening.
I'm hoping the bosses at the new job will be more open to the idea of continuing education for their SEO guy, but I'm going to start off relatively small, requesting that they send me to a conference in Boston so they won't have to pay for travel or lodging.
