Hi,
 

I would like to optimize my title tags for my tumblr blog. I've been reading lots of articles about how to do this. However, I've come across several suggestions and I can't decide which one is best. I would be very grateful for any advice you can give me. Also, any explainations you can provide would be appreciated.

That really depends on how the "PostSummary" and "PostTitle" appear in real life. As a purely theoretical exercise or as a concept they are neither good nor bad. It is only when content is put in those conceptual placeholders that an objective opinion could be formed.
