Hi all,

I'va a site (ex. www.oldwebsite.com) that it is not well seo optimized. So I have decided to give it a new brand also using a new domain (ex. www.newwebsite.com). The old website has been made on wordpress. I've thought that I'd need to:

1) transfer the whole site (db + files) to a new web hosting

2) to redirect old urls to the new ones with rewrite rules

Considering that this solution needs to move all the wordpress platform to the new hosting, I ask to you if you know some other solution that would be less expensive in time.

Thanks and ciao :-)

Bob

Apart from the fact that it's not well-optimized, what's wrong with the old domain name? What led you to believe that you should change it?

You shouldn't need new new hosting. Just associate the new domain name with the existing site and redirect the old one to the new.
