Hi,

I had someone set up my mod_rewrite years ago and thought it was taken care of but looking at a backlink report on majestic seo it looks like I do have an issue.

Current mod_rewrite on my .htaccess file:

<IfModule mod_rewrite.c>
RewriteEngine On
RewriteBase /
RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} !^www\.mydomain\.com [NC]
RewriteRule ^(.*)$ http://www.mydomain.com/$1 [L,R=301]
</IfModule>

The site was hit hard by Panda 3.4, still looking for that needle in the haystack as to why and I should have visited this issue sooner but again, thought it was set up correctly.

To me, this shows I do have a canonical issue.

Thanks in advance

A www and non www issue is not going to be any sort of Panda problem.

Well that's good, I was concerned about the home page having 3 different versions instead of one. I would think I need to get these into one since just to have it correct?

Yes it's a good thing to do but it's unlikely to be a problem for google as is.
