We work very hard to build our list. Out of 4,300 emails sent in the last cycle (30 days) we have received only 3 spam compliants so I am sure we are in good standing.

My question is - does anyone know at what level your domain gets blacklisted as spam? I mean do you have to consistently have to be above the industry 1%/ 1000 to get blacklisted?

Obviosuly I aim to keep below that level but you cant control haters or idiots that hit "spam" b/c they are tool lazy to opt-out of something which 100% opted-in too.

Who knows?

 

Every  mail provider, "blackhole" lookup or message filtering system/service will have different standards, there is no central co-ordinated "spam complaints centre". If there were, gmail, hotmail, yahoo, mail.ru etc.  addresses would NOT be accepted ANYWHERE.
