So I'm using the Jetpack plugin on all my sites, it shows me my traffic stats, referrers, keywords etc..
Can checking my traffic from within my wordpress dashboard affect my rankings?
Before anyone says how stupid my question is, I am asking because I'm not sure if the plugin (jetpack) queries google for the data?

Because, I wasn't sure if Jetpack queries Google?
Google are suspicious of things like Keyword research and ranking checks as it's querying google.
I was actually blocked out of using the keyword tool for excessive querying.

Note: The stats portion of Jetpack uses Quantcast to enhance its data.

So given that "information" I wouldn't trust it to be any more "accurate" or useful than checking Alexa 'ratings'.
If you want REAL traffic stats. .... Use your site access logs.
