Joe Hall respectfully disagrees with Jill.

 

He makes some valid points, but the article leaves out the question of where and how the rankings are being checked. If whatever method you use to check rankings doesn't give you results that average out to something similar to what your audience sees (which is going to vary from person to person, of course), then how can you know you're getting useful data?
