We currently have a website (which will be shared as requested because I do not want to be flagged for spam), which has every page URL ending with .php

When redeveloping the site, the page URLs will remain the same however, they will end in .html rather than .php

I am wondering what is the proper way to go about this so that the credibility and page rank for each page will be transferred.

Any information will be helpful.

Thank you in advance.
