I have a bit of experience in SEO, partly for my own sites and diving head first into helping others.
In my efforts to out my best foot forward, I am trying to create systems and processes.
Can anyone share what their biggest pain points are with managing the seo process for client's?
Many thanks!
Aaron

Unrealistic expectations and blaming the SEO company for not saving their business. Particularly difficult clients tend to be those who have been previously stung by SEO companies and are expecting you to be as bad, finding faults and picking flaws in your strategy.
Also agree with Jill- Clients change things, filenames, new pages, add content without discussing with SEO company.
