I'm not seeing Google results in Yahoo. Maybe it's just in India.

Some bad news for me... from 2nd to 25th now :D I do not know why??

I see that they are still showing the cached page of my web site without updates. Can anyone suggest what to do to get the site reviewed again by Yahoo???

Yogi,

How does that 25th position compare with your current Google position. Perhaps Vijay is onto something seeing as you're both from the same part of the world.

I'd definitely caution you to wait several days before doing anything. I know I don't have a good feel for what to expect during a major Yahoo!/INK update yet.

Here in the States I'm liking it, but honestly I don't see all that much change with the sites I did a quick spot check on. A few phrases with flight improvement, but otherwise the SERPs seem to be pretty close to what they've been since the first day that Y! went out on their own.

Yahoo is using about 3 sets of rotating result with different algorithm, not including AV, AW and Inktomi. If you want to see different result check your keywords on yahoo, yahoo Canada and yahoo UK.

IMO yahoo is using this strategy to weed out spamer or they don't want people to get grasp of their search algorithms.

In google I have moved up from 16th to 12th and now 8th position. That means I am at 1st page now.
In India when I search for "Silver Jewelry Jaipur" on Yahoo I am at 3rd number. the 2nd number site being my too.

I am very surprised on one observation and that is in Yahoo search today I see the newer version of my page but that newer page is also around 10 days old. Dose that mean that they crawled my site 10 days back, have processed it for so many days and now published the results. I am at exact same position in yahoo from last 1 month if I search from here (India).

Golly.... you know how we use our keyphrases to optimise and off them we always or often get similar relevant phrases that rank really well...?

i have 3 only fully optimised pages with about 3 similar keyphrases each page but not the same, and off that i get about another half dozen decent phrases that come out of that that are v useful.. in my case some great phrases that are difficult or time consuming to do a decent copy for..

i just tried a decent phrase like that on the new yahoo and including directory results like excite i actually had 7 links out of the top ten.. pointing to only these 3 pages........ kinda great for me, but kinda crazy too in respect of a searchers point of view isnt it? I mean if he doesnt want my service and clicks the next half dozen links hes/shes still gonna come back to me and be pissed off. wondering if many of you lot getting this scenario? wether for your own site or anothers...

It would seem Yahoo's current algo likes keyword phrases in the URL, a couple of our old sites that are essentialy, searchterm.com or .co.uk have popped into the top 3 with little effort from ourselves, not sure if this is a good thing. Search terms in the URL smack of desperation to me and usually lead to inferior sites.
