Hi all,
I've a case and need your guidance.
As per my understanding Googlebot is intelligent enough to understand iframe data and crawls it easily.
However, is there any SEO advantage of using iframes when the data is fetched from another website and there are outgoing links to other sites embeded in the content ?
If that sounds confusing, here is what I wish your thoughts on:
One site having a blog and trying to implement a new section page. The page has iframes, the data is fetched from different website and the content has outgoing links to various other properties.
Want to know if there are any SEO benefits or any dis-advantages in particular for using this approach?
Thanks,
Pravin

No there shouldn't be any benefits as the content doesn't exist on your site.

Most smoke and mirrors methods are vulnerable to an Algo Zapping once they become abused by the unscrupulous. If and when that happened with offsite Iframes, the innocent would likely get the same treatment as the guilty chancers.
