I've found in-text link ads like those from [Removed] to be a pretty good source of revenue. But I wonder if they reduce traffic, cause a Google downgrade, or interfere with my site in other ways.

Also, revenue notwithstanding, the in-text links are kind of obtrusive and on the ugly side. I wonder what the community's experience with these sorts of service has been, and whether in-text ads are worthwhile or a bad move.
