The analyzed reports from the last 2 weeks shows big differences in Google SERP between reports generated in Romania, but on different cities. Not only the order of the URL is different how it was until few weeks ago, but also about 60% of the URLs are different in Google.ro TOP10 on a keyword as "webdesign" .

Google Venice was active in US, but what about other countries ?

It seems that in the last few weeks, maybe in the same time with the Penguin Update , at least in Romania, google has become even more local providing different results for different cities, and I am not referring to google maps results from the SERP.


From my POV by localizing the results, SEO practice will affect the site ranking in the same way. If the offpage SEO is done not exactly on the targeted area ( city area not country ) , then the SERP could be higher for another area but not for the one the website owner is targeting.

Can be one additional reason for the latest SERP changes.

Please try to check and confirm if Google Venice update is active or not on your city/country and try to post also the date when it has become active.
