Hello,
I am optimizing a website that has dynamic URLs. While changing to SEO friendly ones I noticed that one dynamic URL is currently ranked high (number 4 on a targeted keyword).
My question is: Should I be changing its dynamic URL to an SEO friendly one or just leave it as is since it is already ranking high. I am concerned that if I change it I will experience a drop in ranking.
Thank you.

Either way is fine. But if you change them you have to 301 redirect the old ones to the new ones.
