I have ran a broken link checker on my site which finds any dead links, 404s that shouldn't be etc.
It has found one which it calls an empty URL which is linked from many pages on my site.
i think the link in question it has found is actual a java script link, it looks like this:
<a href="" class="showmore" >Choose more...</a>
has any one any ideas if the above coding is wrong?
thank you,
shimlad

The href attribute of a link should NOT be left empty, to be self-referential there should be at least a '#' in the href attribute, and to prevent the onclick event from bubbling up to the anchor element, add return false; to the event handler.
