My client has a coldfusion site and wants to redo it in php because someone told him coldfusion is bad for SEO and Google battles to crawl these sites.
It is not an e-commerce site and has no 'ugly' urls. Google has crawled all his pages no problem. Is there any other reason to change to php?
Thanks,
Caro

Cold Fusion sites when done correctly are perfectly fine for search engines.

Do a site: search for tek-tips.com or eng-tips.com both are coded in ColdFusion.
And of course ALL pages are HTML when they get to the user agent.
