Ok, am i missing something here? this article actually used the word Apocalypse, but i can't really find anything worthy to note here. sure people signed in at Google.com are not going to yield any info in GA when it comes to referrer info. it's a small percentage of information just go and look at the keywords coming from the other 89%! lol
Can someone tell me if there's something i'm overlooking?

Some people are very dependent upon Google Analytics' keyword data. Some people are very dependent upon Google for traffic. And some people are so tied in to groups of Google+ users that their "(not provided)" data may constitute 25-33% of Google referrals.
I have wildly varying percentages in my own data for "(not provided)" depending on whether the site is technical (SEO Theory) or personal (Xenite.Org). Personally, I'm not too concerned. I've always had to deal with blindspots in keyword activity for one reason or another.
