so companies are paying for adverts based on a guess at best and a lie more than likely of how many people are watching?

I'm not sure how TV advertising can exist or be value for money, does anyone watch adverts these days?

Though i have pondered the thought that although they are not allowed to show subliminal advertising by throwing in the odd 'frame' as an advert, are we kind of doing that to ourselves these days by generally seing adverts at fast forward speed?
