Speedier Indexing - How Do I?
Posted 16 March 2004 - 04:12 AM
I need to get a site indexed with Yahoo, MSN, Ask Jeeves, Lycos and Altavista sort of quickly.
What is the best for this? Is it overture, Inktomi etc? or is there another way?

Yeah I know about the links thing, have been doing it, but I want it faster,. or rather the client does. Besides the client ahs quite a few links but does nto want to turn her site into a link farm. I am in total agreement.
Is there one company that does it all. I am thinking about Overture or something.

Obviously will take longer than the paid inclusions but in the long run (month or two) it works.

are you only paying for robots to look at your site more often than usual?
my site is in the category of .30 cents a click. that means im paying $600.00 for every 2000 people that come to my site, right?
if i want to come up when someone searches for "beauty hair face" but for some reason i come up on a search for "shoes" because i mention my feet in my site, do i still pay the .30 cents a click?

Though, sadly, SiteMatch will probably catch enough newbies to make it work for Yahoo.
