Hi.
I'm not usre I'm in the correct section, so if not, please tell me where to move the topic and I will.
I have a client that wants me to add her products to google base (shopping) She does not have an automatic XML feed. I have created the feed manually as per the google specifications- it is being rejected for not following their policies.. I am waiting for a more descriptive reason from them.
My question is.. Is having your products listed with google shopping as important as they want you to think it is?

If so, does anyone know where I can go to figure out why my file is not acceptable.

Yes, if you sell products, you can get lots of additional traffic being in the Google product feed.
