I have a french client and they ask me to do keyword research for site in french.But its completely new for me how to do keyword research in french.I can find keywords in english only.If anyone have idea please help me out.

Unless you speak fluent french, you shouldn't even attempt this.

I have to agree with Jill. The rules for optimization in French are the same as the rules for optimization in English. You need to know what people are searching for. If you have no knowledge of the language, how can you test query expressions to see how popular or relevant they are?
You probably need to partner with someone who is fluent and knowledgeable in the French search market.

what's the problem with Google adwords tool ?? you can just change the language and location ..
