Yesterday was sunday. Normally on sundays, i do not get much visitors. I checked my logs and i saw that a lot of keywords that were used to find my site were the ones i had always expected. I get about half of my visitors on the weekends, and double that on weekdays. So yesterday (sunday) i got about 500 visitors. Today im checking my projected amount of visitors and its just horrible...about 700 total.

I dont know what is going on. Last week, most of my visitors came to my site using 2-3 word keyword combinations..today i check my logs, and they are practically writting sentences to get me. I noticed this trend during the major florida update of december.

What can be causing this? do you think there is another update going on?

Another thing is that on this weekend, i found some useful articles that my website visitors would enjoy. The thing is that these articles are widely available online.
Could that be the reason my rankings have lowered, because of using articles that are posted everywhere?

If thats the case, i was thinking about re writting those articles into my own words that way they would not be exact duplicates.

Yes, a google update is currently going on. I would wait a week or so for the results to settle down and then check your logs again. Your visitors should stabilize by then....
