Hi,

I am doing an experiement with blogs, I have taken a key phrase "promo pens" from my friends business and created a blog [URL deleted as it's not necessary for this discussion] I got it indexed in just two days. Now I need to get some links.Now the problem is

I cant give a link back as I donot have any other page. Generallly no one accepts a blog page. So how can I get some links? Are there free submissions, which accepts blogs.

Aji, if your blog is useful and worthwhile to people, they will link to it. If not, they won't.

If it is just a marketing ploy then it will have limited scope in its ability to be successful, but here is a list of

blog directories
yahoo and dmoz have a list too...

Write some really interesting stuff, and then submit to all these directories and specialized blog search engines and the like. Blogs tend to attain popularity more because they gain fans of their content than for any other particular reason.

also with a blog you will want to ping many of the aggrigators. (i hope I spelled that right)
