·Each attendee will be required to sign a non-disclosure agreement, agreeing not to publicize, promote, post to forums, teach, or announce the strategies in any way. The strategies are to be used for the personal use of the attendees only and for their clients.

You must be willing to share at least one of YOUR own personal strategies with other attendees, possibly in the individual group sessions. What you share MUST be of *high value,* because what you will be learning from the group will be of extraordinary value (beyond the normal scope of "advanced topics").

You agree that only ethical strategies will be shared.

Craig, why do you say "spam" in the title of this thread?

It does seem odd. Are there "ethical" methods that "99.9% of SEOs do NOT know about"?

And they require all attendees to be willing to talk about at least one of their own secrets. I wonder if you have to tell them in advance what that secret is, so they can decide whether it's really (1) secret, (2) ethical, and (3) of any value.

Jill, maybe it was a little premature spamulation on my part. ;)

Well they say the techniques have to be ethical, but since that's a subjective word, it's hard to say.

I can't imagine that there's any secret things out there that the avg. SEO doesn't already know about either.

I guess someone will just have to attend to find out. Of course, they'll be sworn to secrecy, so that does kinda put a crimp in letting us know!

Meanwhile, I wish them good luck with it, and hope that those who sign up get a great return on their investment.

I don't recall any time I've talked to a spammer that they have said that what they do is unethical. In every single case there was a justification, or a position that marketing has nothing to do with ethics, or whatever. So of course that condition would have no real meaning to them.

Not to say that this is "spammercon" or anything (I have no idea), but it kinda has my spider senses tingling...

I just don't like the sound of something that's supposed to be about sharing information that you then can't share with anyone else... It just seems... Odd.

I agree, DL7. I believe that SEOs should share all their secrets with each other. Why not?

I've pissed off many people over the years for that very reason...I demystified SEO to the average Joe.

Perhaps this symposium wants to mystify it again? Or maybe we're all missing the boat and there are secrets out there we should be doing!

At any rate, I doubt it's spam they will be discussing. Robin Nobles knows better than to teach people how to spam.

There another conference by Robin Nobles, beginning and advanced search engine strategies. Does anyone know if its worth the $1300 for the advanced course?

Tally, that's really a subjective thing, and we're certainly not going to trash anyone else's seminars here, as we also hold seminars.

If anyone would like to pm ultimateai with their experiences, that's fine, but as per our guidelines, we're not going to discuss the goods and/or bads publicly.

Thanks for your understanding in this.

Jill
