It never really existed. It was simply an unintended side effect of a link evaluation algorithm Google developed. Some people may still run afoul of it but I haven't seen a genuine case of the Sandbox Effect in a long, long time. Google has better methods for evaluating content these days.

The "aging delay" as we called it here, most definitely did exist, whatever the reason behind it.
Thankfully, it's many years behind us.
(Anyone reading this should browse through some of the old threads here in our old aging delay forum to learn more what it was all about. I should probably just close it down at this point!)

Heh...well if nothing else, the "sandbox" was always a good excuse for not getting any SEO results!
