Hi all

Just need some advice please.

If i'm targeting a keyword and creating links for, hamburgers for example (i'm not targeting hamburgers but just using that example to make it easy) should i just be creating links for hamburgers or should i also target keywords around that such as cheese burger, fish burger and steak burger as well?

Im trying to work out which is the more effective at climbing the search results. If you folks could give me some advice it would be much appreciated.

If you offer those other types of burgers, then yes, you should be optimizing for them, whether it's via anchor text links or content on the page itself.
