Company Wants To Buy Links With A No Follow?
Posted 06 July 2011 - 06:45 AM
I am suspicious as why they would want to do this because they are exactly the type of company that normal goes round buying links for their PR value or influence on search rankings.
Anyone have any idea what they might be up to??

"Itís a common practice for these types of links to be do follows. However this is no follow test and your site has the perfect metrics for it."

This is true. The fact that it's on your home page means also one other thing - every time your home page has a screen capture taken, that link may be visible and part of the promotion. Paying less for a no-follow link with good visibility can be worth something too.
Every link you have on your pages is a promotional advert, even ones to your own pages.
