Hi
I am putting together a custom CMS which I want to be SEO friendly.
I have these features
Long Titles that describe the page.
Description Meta Tags
Keyword Meta tags
Pictures have long descriptive names.
When page is updated the sitemap is updated and uploaded to Google at the end of the session.
What other functionality can I add to the CMS to make it more SEO friendly..
Thank you..

It's really quite simple:
You give the backend admin control over what elements THEY want to use for the page and the ability to edit them.
meta description element? If the user fills it in use that, if not grab the first few lines of text from the body text.
meta keywords element? present it to the user let them decide.
Give the control to the USER!
