Firstly I would just like to say there is a great mood in this forum already [great advice also]. :D

Just wondering what tools are available to assess accurately your number of back links. Am I right to have read that Google will only show links with a PR of four or better.

I would also like to move to the question of the most common method of charging a client for a link building campaign. What is the fairest way to go for both parties-per link/per hr/ or campaign guaranteeing the certain amount of links.

Not long ago I found on some site:
http://www.linkpopularitycheck.com
http://www.linkpopularity.com/
http://www.marketleap.com/publinkpop/

I also use http://www.goodkeywords.com software, where posibility to check link popularity is available.

Hope this helps.

Just type your URL into google (without the http://) and then click on Find web pages that contain the term: "www.yoursite.com"

Just type your URL into google (without the http://) and then click on Find web pages that contain the term: "www.yoursite.com"

That's an interesting search but it gives you more than just pages linked to your page. For instance my site is www.compar.com and this search includes site containing "www.compar.com.au" which of course is an Australian URL that has no connection to my site and "https://www.compar.com" which is our secure domain and is not linked to my web site.

So while this search will undoubtedly give you all the pages that are linked to you it also gives you a lot more that are not linked. Interesting search nonetheless.

Hi, Skarraman!
I bought a tool about 8 months ago that is the most in depth one I've come across. It gives extremely detailed info about your links...plus it's very user friendly. I don't get paid for this or anything, I just love the program.

Good luck!

If you want to see as many backlinks as possible try getting your backlinks from alltheweb by typing your url into the search box and then selecting the link that says find all external web pages that link to........

If you do a search at Google for external links to Pizzahut.com it lists 899 backlinks, Alltheweb shows 77,383!
