Hello All,
I'm in the process of re-branding at present and as such a new website as part of the brand is being built... which will have a new domain name.
The problem I have is that the current domain has a PR of 2, and plenty of inbound links etc - the SEO is doing very well.
If I do a permanent re-direct from the current site to the new site... will this harm the SEO rankings in anyway, or is there a better way of doing it?
I obviously want to avoid having 2 sites up with similar content.
Any help would be appreciated - I just want to make sure the new site gets the benefit of the hard work on SEO that the current site has!
Regards,
Zine
