Hi currently work for a website which ranks quite well compared to the competitors. We a few pages which are quite old, but fairly well ranked by Google. BUT their page url's are also old and have no keywords and are irrelevant to the page content. So my question is:

Considering they are already fairly well ranked, should I try changing the url's of these specific pages to be more keyword-rich and reflect the content? Do you think this will help my ranking or worsen it. I know most of the time, changing a page's url is not advised, as this can create some broken links and such..

THoughts? tips to overcome?

All is appreciated.

Thanks,

Ryan

If you reverse your statements to read

" their page url's are old, have no keywords and are irrelevant to the page content but fairly well ranked by Google."

Does that not tell you all you need to know about "keyword URLs"??
