Recenty I famous chap on TV said something like "they sky will be blue"..

And of course, everyone started search via google what he said.

I wrote a piece in my blog that had a title like "What Mr Brown meant when he said the sky is blue".

This of course was great for the hits on my blog, as when every one searched for the original statement made by Mr Brown, my blog comments snippet turn up 4 to 5 slots down on the google search results for the original content, and thus people came to my site to check out my post on my blog. Great !

This is a piggy back traffic grab. Question, how can I do more of this? How can I see whats search engine hot each day in my field, or specific subject matter?/

Any ideas???

You might try paying close attention to Google News, as well as trending topics on Twitter.

Google has a tool called "google insight for search" which allows you to see and compare search trends. You can filter your search by location, time range and search category. Check it out I think it will be very useful for you. Google Insight For Search
