Most SEO expert will advice a 5% keyword density. But what do they take into account? When I scan a few of my competitors they have a 4% density for text content but when I include their Meta, Alt and Title, they have around 10% density. Would you advice to stick with a 4% for the full webpage or does the 4% only count for the text content?
Thank you!
Thank you!

The answer is simple: don't check keyword density -- at least not numerically.
Read the content of the page out loud. Make sure the subject-matter is clear without it becoming repetitive and sounding stupid.

Anyone who claims there's a specific % of keywords that should be used within any given page is most certainly not an SEO expert.
If they claim to be, run far far away as quickly as possible.

Keyword density has not been a relevant measure of SEO copywriting success in probably 8-10 years. We have an entire thread pinned to the top if the Content section of the forum you can read.

Check Matt Cutts' blog. You'll find numerous instances where he says (paraphrasing) "Stop checking keyword density. Don't worry about the number of times you use the keyphrase. Google doesn't worry about it so why should you?"
Here are just a few:
