One of my clients noticed today that the SEOBook tool report of backlinks in Yahoo Site Explorer just took a big dive. His site went from 64k to 16k, and I've seen similar drops in other sites too. Anybody know what's going on?

I stopped using the Yahoo Site Explorer since Yahoo used Bing as search index. I haven't monitored the Yahoo Bot activities, but I can expect to see huge drop of activity. You may use other tools to check back link activity like Open Site Explorer or MajesticSEO
