We're hoping that some of the experts here can settle a little debate in our office.

We're creating a content website for a client using Wordpress and we've implemented the clean url option on the installation. From an SEO perspective, do the search engines see a distinction between a Wordpress post and a Wordpress page? Is it easier to make a Wordpress page rank higher as apposed to a blog post or does it matter? Personally, I don't undersand why there would be a difference but it seems some people feel there is a difference.

I'm sorry if this question has been asked before but I looked around and I couldn't find the answer. Thanks in advance for your help.

No. They're all just html code.
