Hi Everyone...
It's not that I've been unfaithful, or I have been hanging out elsewhere, I just seem to have somewhere along the way stopped logging in and interacting. Whilst I've still been enjoying Jill's excellent newsletters and keeping in touch by dropping by for a quick read every so often, I haven't logged n to say hi, and to give my ha'penny's worth is a very long time.
What has everyone been up to? I can tell you that I am still in the same role with the same company, and have been working on some very interesting projects; I've drunk more beer, wine, spiced rum and gin than I should have done and care to remember and I recently became Greek-by-proxy...
Sarah
(who promises to come along and say hi and interact much much more!)

You are not alone Sarah.
Everybody seems to be hanging back.
The clickety clack of fingers on the web seems to be way down.
We have changed our SEO markedly as a result.
We bought a freephone anywhere plan and are phoning people.
We are finding the people who are hanging back that used to hang around.
They really appreciate our call.
Huge bang for effort.
We have upgraded the old newsletter system.
Simply because social media in our cohort is dwindling.
Everybody still gets email.
The geeks are still engaged.
But a lot of the tweeners are downgrading their web presence.
Interesting times.

I'm pretty sure sobriety would have functioned pretty well for me on some of those occasions!

True: when you see that your past can be accessed by potential employers, you tend to think about what you're putting onto the web, closing down your networks and using the web as a private channel rather than the public one.
