hi
I am still working on my link building efforts. I have heard that dmoz, yahoo, botw, business.com, joeant, and starting point are good directories. I can't get into dmoz, for whatever reason i got no answer from them. I did notice a jump in my rankings when i bought yahoo directory listing, and another jump when i bought a best of the web directory listing.
I have recently purchased a business.com directory listing, and yahoo site explorer has picked it up. However I have not seen any fluctuations in my rankings since that listing.
Do you know if there is any seo benefit in terms of higher rankings from a business.com directory listing.
Also what about starting point, or stpt.com
Any advice would be greatly appreciated

I'm guessing that you mixed up cause and effect with your other directory listings as it's doubtful that those individual links are what boosted your rankings.
