Does anyone know the Adwords sitelinks are still only in Beta? I've been seeing them for more searches and was wondering whether they are being released wider and what the requirements for them are.

I think they just show up in your account as an option if it's available to you. Not sure what the requirements are though.

I've got sitelinks but they don't appear in my WMT account.
Am I bothered?

That's what I thought it may be "magic"

I'm not talking about the ones in Google Webmaster Tools, but in AdWords, which could be a really good tool of classifying visitors to certain sections of a site for broad targeted keywords.

Do you know where they appear in Google AdWords when they do?

Site Links operate at the campaign level. Select a campaign in AdWords then choose the Settings Tab. You will find them under the Ad Extensions heading. It's working here in the UK.
You are right about classifying visitors for broad terms. It helps them refine their search and go straight to an appropriate landing page.
On short term evidence I'm looking at a significant increase in CTRs when site links are shown.
