My company is gearing up to cater its website to a global audience. Phase one includes putting a user IP detect in place, and automatically redirecting international (non US/Canada) visitors to one of five international English version sites (laam.mysite.com, apac.mysite.com, europe.mysite.com, etc). In phase one, these sites will offer duplicate content, though this will change with time. Given that we're using a redirect, I'm wondering how this will affect the ability for the search engines outside the US to find our pages, and display them in the search results. Can anyone shed light on what I might expect?
